Featured: Partnered: JACT Offers Rewards for Members

I am excited to announce that MMOGuru has teamed up with JACT Media to help support the site. We've been testing out JACT's service and we want to let everyone know about it, so you can support our supporters. You get what are deemed "BUX" for playing your favorite MMO’s. All you have to do is request an invite code on their site and then download the client. It's very small, and has no spyware or viruses and no in-game ads; it just checks to see if you're playing a game and, if you are, it dispenses BUX for every minute you play that you can redeem on their site for rewards. Here's the blurb from their community manager:

With a wide variety of quests The Commonlands brings a lot of fun to new and old players alike who are trying to level up a lower level character. The majority of the quests you will find in the Crossroads, which can be found just west if you follow the road out of West Freeport. However there are a couple of quests upon exiting West Freeport that will get you started in that general direction. |
EQ2 Servers Running

The account management system upgrade for today is complete. The EQII US and EU English Language servers are now up, and the French and German servers are in the queue. Thank you for your patience during this maintenance, should anything change we will message to you on as many different fronts as possible.
Downtime September 25th

There will be some downtime for all of SOE's forums and games coming on the 25th. Here is what the official forums had to say:

| All SOE games, websites, message boards, Knowledge Base, Station store, and other services will be unavailable for approximately 24 hours beginning on Tuesday, September 25th. All SOE services will be undergoing upgrades to the authentication system and as a result, all logins for SOE services will be unavailable. Technical and Account support will only be available by phone during this time. Please keep an eye on this website for more news and information about this maintenance as it becomes available. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this downtime. (Intentionally no time specified yet, this is just an early warning) |
